My antivirus scan won't work. I really need help!?

Question

When I click on my Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware icon on my desktop to run a scan on my laptop a loud noise blares with this message that pops up next to a red circle with a white "X" on it reading:

An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware support team.

Error code: 703 (0, 453)

...I have tried to fix the problem through the control panel several different ways but can't for some reason.

Thank you for any help to a solution to this problem.

DID u try uninstalling it? and redownloading it and reinstalling it? thats my safest bet right now. if your using windows 7 .. then it wont work for sure ... it doesnt have windows 7 support .

I have windows 8, and you are definitely right - I just deleted it from my control panel from add or remove hardwares and just reinstalled it from their main website. Thanks for your help.

This anti-virus is gone.
Your conputer must infected with a trojan, it delete your file automatically,so you can not run this anti-virus.

I believe your installation files are corrupted.
Maybe by viruses.

1) Use another PC to download Malware Cleaner to an USB pen drive.
