The purpose of this study is to define the state of the art on the management of processes for the recruitment and selection of personnel in organizations, with a view to systematizing theoretical-conceptual approaches developed in recent decades for the conceptualization and contextualization of the subject. 

Information was collected, initially articulating a descriptive introduction, then some theoretical contributions are systematized, national and international antecedents are reviewed, as well as psychological models, from which it is possible to interpret process management and its application to recruitment and selection of personnel in organizations. The conclusions provide an analysis of the contextual conditions that motivate organizations to implement process management models, not only in a particular process but in all organizational processes. It is possible to appreciate that, although the qualities and benefits of implementing this model are significantly valued, its application is not commonly assumed in depth, and when it is, it is applied to a specific process.
